Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

This role supports a busy automotive manufacturing warehouse by safely handling materials, operating forklifts, and performing inventory and picking tasks to ensure efficient movement of goods and accurate stock control.

Responsibilities

• Handle and move materials throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products.
• Perform inventory tasks, including counting, verifying, and recording stock levels.
• Pick and prepare orders according to instructions and production requirements.
• Use hand and power tools as needed to support warehouse and material handling activities.
• Read and follow written instructions, labels, and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse standards.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in an automotive manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with general warehouse practices and procedures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and recording materials.
• Reliability and strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment

This position is based in an automotive manufacturing warehouse environment with regular use of forklifts, hand tools, and power tools. The role follows an afternoon to evening shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Work is performed on the warehouse floor, involving standing, walking, and handling materials throughout the shift, in an industrial setting that emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
