Position Summary We are seeking a proficient Welder to contribute to our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal components with precision, ensuring final products meet our quality and safety standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent welding skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Hours: Monday‑Thursday, 1:30 P.M. – 11:30 P.M. Values Innovation Commitment & Passion Integrity Team & Relationships Duties and Responsibilities Perform various welding tasks to join metal parts and components accurately. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure proper alignment and weld quality. Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and measuring as needed. Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making necessary adjustments and repairs. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools, reporting any issues promptly. Work closely with other team members, such as fabricators and supervisors, to ensure efficient production and product quality. Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered. Attributes Self‑motivated Own operation and control Able to read blueprints Attention to detail Qualifications Minimum 5 years of recent MIG welding experience (preferred) Experience welding around pipe Welding experience with galvanized material Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Post‑secondary certificate or vocational training preferred Successfully pass internal AWS weld test High school diploma or GED (preferred) Target hourly range: $22.00 – $25.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
