Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel RN for the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing essential care to critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
- Monitor vital signs and manage complex patient needs.
- Perform procedures such as central line insertions, arterial line insertions, and chest tube insertions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize Meditech for documentation and patient data management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted).
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS.
