Description
Responsibilities:
- Performs welding for process piping to meet ASME codes and standards.
- Uses appropriate hand tools, power tools and other equipment (e.g. grinders, welding machines, etc.) to accomplish tasks as assigned.
- Performs structural welding tasks.
- Maintains piping systems and tanks.
- Assembles pipe systems as fabricated.
- Operates forklift, cherry picker and other industrial machinery as needed to complete work orders.
- Assists other crafts as needed.
- Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Requirements:
- NCCER certified as an Industrial Welder
- Minimum of three year's experience as a Welder in a chemical plant environment
- Mechanical aptitude
