Pediatric Acute Care Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

The Pediatric Hospitalist APN utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision‑making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. Seeking an experienced pediatric acute care certified advanced practice nurse. Schedule: A mix of 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts, 3–4 times a week. Weekday shifts: 6 am–4 pm or 3 pm–11 pm. Weekend shifts: 7 am–7 pm, every 3rd weekend. Required Qualifications Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program. Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice. Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate). National Provider Identifier (NPI). Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law. Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Required Licenses and Certifications NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. Advanced Practice Nurse License. BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. Board certified by AANP or ANCC. AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
