Bartender Position

Hawthorn Topgolf Swing Suites Odessa is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and signature drinks
• Prepare bar area and garnish needed for drinks
• Check all customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age and is current and meets TABC standards
• Know and enforce TABC regulations
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Take out trash as necessary
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures outlined by management
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Point of sale operation knowledge
• Ability to stand and or walk for 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus, but not a requirement
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to be on time and in Full Uniform by designated shift start time
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Must have current TABC and FOOD HANDLERS certification
