Senior AI Product Manager

Schellman is looking for a Senior AI Product Manager to lead our AI strategy and build AI‑powered solutions across our organization. Responsibilities Own AI product roadmap for internal operations and service delivery automation. Partner with the Lead Enterprise Architect to integrate AI strategy into the broader technology vision. Conduct discovery across Finance, HR, IT, Operations, and Service Delivery to identify automation opportunities. Determine build‑vs‑buy decisions and define success metrics for AI initiatives. Prototype POCs using Claude API, Workato, AWS Bedrock, and Glean, and collaborate with engineers to produce production‑grade solutions. Establish AI governance frameworks, policies, and compliance across the organization. Align AI initiatives with cross‑functional teams and drive stakeholder adoption. Build a small AI product and engineering team when required, and mentor team members. Deliver measurable impact: 5 POCs in Year1 with 2–3 moving to production. Qualifications & Experience 8–10+ years building AI/ML products in production, including experience with Claude, OpenAI, or comparable models. Proven product management and technical leadership experience, with ability to translate user needs into product requirements and success metrics. Hands‑on expertise with large language models, prompt engineering, and API integration (Claude, AWS Bedrock, Workato). Experience building and scaling product or engineering teams and fostering a culture of experimentation. Strong governance mindset and familiarity with responsible AI principles, bias detection, and compliance frameworks. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate across technical and business stakeholders. Education & Certifications Preferred: relevant AI, cloud platform (AWS), or product management certifications. Preferred Experience Experience with Claude API, Anthropic models, or deep familiarity with Claude’s capabilities. Hands‑on use of workflow automation tools such as Workato. Knowledge of AWS Bedrock or other managed LLM services. Background in professional services, compliance, or assessment domains. Experience establishing AI governance or responsible AI practices.
