QUALITY INSPECTOR / CMM OPERATOR – 1ST SHIFT

Shelton, CT Pay Range Junior Candidates: $19-$25/hr. Experienced Quality Inspectors / CMM Operators: Up to $25-30/hr. DOE Position Type Temporary Assignment only Shift 1st Shift - 4-10 hour days with Friday open for optional OT Mon-Thursay-7am -5pm Position Overview We are seeking Quality Inspectors and CMM Operators ranging from entry-level candidates to individuals with approximately 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment. Candidates must have hands‑on inspection experience and the ability to operate CMM equipment. Training will be provided on company specific systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on manufactured components Operate CMM equipment and inspection tools Measure part tolerances and document inspection results Read and interpret technical prints and engineering drawings Support calibration procedures and inspection activitiesPerform first article, in-process, and final inspections Maintain accurate quality documentation and records Follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures Maintain clean and organized work areas Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools CMM operation experience preferred Strong attention to detail and communication skills ISO9001 or IATF16949 experience is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Top Prospect Group LLC
