We are looking for a PRN Certified Patient Technician Assistant to join our Med Surg team that is committed to clinical excellence and building a patient-centered culture.Three Crosses Regional Hospital is an advanced independent healthcare organization led by a local team of professionals dedicated to high quality patient care and being the first choice of patients and providers in the communities we serve.We are dedicated to hiring team members that will adapt to our culture, prides themselves in professionalism, integrity, transparency, two-way communication, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.Responsibilities:Greeting and guiding visitors as a unit receptionistAssist with direct/indirect patient care under supervision of licensed nurseClinical knowledge to perform general interventions for the patient whether the need is taking pulse, helping with grooming, getting a lunch tray, or acting quickly in an emergencyResponsible for ensuring proper assimilation of information between hospital personnel, nursing staff and othersAssists with data entry on patient information into Cerner DatabasePerform varied daily job tasks based on the patient load and physician orders coming into our unit.Maintains unit supplies inventory and assist with stocking linens, IV trays and other unit supplies.Schedule lab work, tests, and x-rays per physician ordersMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, adhering to infection-control policies and protocolsMaintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times protecting patients as well as hospital operationsJob Requirements:1+ years Clinical experienceCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate OR Current Certified Medical Assistant CertificationCurrent BLS RequiredBasic computer skillLicense/Certification(s):Required: CNA Certification New Mexico OR CMARequired: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)Required: Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days and/or nights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and on-call.Three Crosses Regional Hospital is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law
