Operations Process Engineer

PCI Pharma Services seeks an Operations Process Engineer to improve manufacturing processes and systems through lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on reducing waste, variability, and costs while driving operational efficiency across the facility in Rockford, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and lead continuous improvement initiatives with subject matter experts
• Gather and analyze operational data including OEE, uptime, scrap, and labor costs to identify improvement opportunities
• Design and implement lean process improvements using tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis
• Coach process owners and cross-functional teams on process changes and sustainability
• Audit new and existing processes, create SOPs, and conduct training to sustain gains

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field or 1-5 years equivalent experience
• College-level mathematical skills and advanced computer proficiency
• Training in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication skills, written and verbal
• Black or Green Belt certification preferred
• Experience with JD Edwards, OEE software (MES), or Pilgrim documentation systems preferred

Compensation: $77,600-$97,000 base plus annual performance bonus
