We are working with an established food production company based in Frederick, MD. They are recruiting for a **Production Supervisor **to join their team during their 3rd shift in return for a salary in the region of **$70,000 - $80,000 **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supervise production, warehouse, and sanitation teams to ensure safe, quality food production.
• Assign personnel to workstations and coordinate staffing and break schedules.
• Monitor production performance and achieve KPI targets for output, quality, waste, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure timely repairs and completion of preventative maintenance.
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees while promoting a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues to maintain efficiency and production goals.
• Complete shift reports and communicate operational issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support warehouse operations and material flow to meet production demands.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Previous Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or Manufacturing Leadership experience required.
• Food manufacturing, food processing, or packaging industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, training, and employee development skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to monitor production KPIs and drive operational improvements.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• HACCP Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
