Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact supporting students in a dynamic school environment as an experienced Speech Language Pathologist. This contract position will have you engaging with a diverse student population at multiple sites in the Jacksonville, FL area. The role begins August 10, 2026 and extends through the end of the school year on May 28, 2027. You’ll play a key role helping PreK-12 students with mild to moderate communication needs succeed in their academic and social settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Florida Department of Health SLP license (CCC required)
• Experience providing speech and language therapy in school settings, serving PreK-12 students
• Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
• Ability to work as an itinerant clinician, traveling between locations as needed
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Completion of fingerprinting and ability to fulfill time-sensitive background clearance requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students (subject to assignment)
• Assess, screen, and develop individualized intervention plans for students with a range of communication needs
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and school teams to support student outcomes
• Manage scheduling and travel between assigned school sites
