Investment Analyst

We are seeking a well spoken analyst who loves the investment, market, and financial modeling world. This role will evaluate, track and manage a portfolio. We need someone who loves equity research, asset allocation and enjoys researching different investment sectors. In addition, this role will evaluate new investment trends and give recommendations.

Position Responsibilities

• Create and deepen relationships with existing investment managers including participation in quarterly or annual meetings
• Monitor and evaluate prospective and existing investments
• Participate in sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, and research on public and private investments across all asset classes.
• Participate in and present research results at internal investment team meetings
• Create and manage public and direct private investment models and analysis on direct private equity and real estate transactions in partnership with investment team
• Identify new market and investment trends recommending various execution methods
• Coordinate reporting with the family’s investment advisors and banking relationships
• Track and manage individual stock portfolio, including equity research, asset allocation, sector analysis, reporting on quarterly conference calls, and performance reporting
• Sustainability projects and investments – become knowledgeable of sustainability targets, source and evaluate solutions, partner with internal and external partners to consider and implement solutions.
• Lead and coordinate sustainability projects and communication
• Work collaboratively with 5 member team consisting of Executive Assistant, Investment Operations Controller, Investment Analysts and Chief Investment Officer
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of experience of relevant investment experience
• Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn
• Must be organized with strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a collaborative team player
• Must possess analytical skills, with an understanding of and ability to utilize a variety of analytical tools (Bloomberg, Morningstar, Addepar, etc.)
• Must possess strong Excel skills
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
