Assistant Adjunct Professor – Chinese Culture Studies The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures (ALC) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) invites applications for part-time or full-time positions in Chinese culture studies beginning in Fall 2026. Qualifications Ph.D. degree by August 2026 in Chinese language, Chinese culture, education, or other related areas. Three years or more of experience teaching Chinese culture studies courses at the college level is desirable. Salary The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The salary range for this position is $80,800 – $89,400, reflecting a 100% appointment. The selected candidate’s salary rate will be prorated based on the designated percentage of time.
