Senior Area Director

We're looking for an experienced Senior Area Director to provide operational leadership across multiple markets, ensuring exceptional care, regulatory excellence, and outstanding support for the individuals we serve. What You'll Do As a Senior Area Director, you'll serve as a trusted regional leader, partnering closely with the Regional Vice President and cross‑functional teams to drive operational excellence across residential and day services. Lead and mentor Area Directors and Day Program Managers, building engaged, high‑performing teams. Ensure safe, compliant, person‑centered services across multiple programs. Spend time in the field conducting site visits, coaching leaders, and supporting operational success. Champion quality, survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Drive staffing excellence through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and workforce planning. Partner with clinical, quality, HR, recruiting, and operations teams to support census growth and seamless client onboarding. Monitor program outcomes, identify trends, and implement solutions that improve care and operational performance. Build strong relationships with families, community partners, health‑care providers, and other key stakeholders. Help create an environment where both employees and the individuals we support can thrive. What Makes You Successful You're someone who: Leads with integrity, accountability, and compassion. Communicates effectively and builds trust across all levels of the organization. What You'll Bring Required Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare, or a related field. At least one year of direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. 3‑5 years of progressive leadership experience managing teams, operations, staffing, and compliance. Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Master's degree in a related field. Experience with Individual Program Plans (IPP), Person‑Directed Plans (PDP), or person‑centered planning. Experience participating in regulatory surveys, audits, or inspections. Why Join Us?
