About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a level 1 trauma setting License: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred Certifications: Required Must-Have: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently Advanced skills needed to perform routine CT exams for all types of Emergency Department and Inpatient cases Description: This position involves working in a high-volume radiology department. The average number of CT exams performed is 180 per day. There are three CT scanners available for use. The unit maintains a staffing ratio of two techs per scanner during the day and a total of three techs for overnight shifts. The equipment used includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners. All routine CT exams for Emergency Department and Inpatient cases will be performed, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CT angiography.
