Activities Director

Lead a team, plan meaningful events, and make every day special for seniors in our community. We are seeking a creative, organized, and compassionate Activities Director to lead the Life Enrichment program in our Assisted Living community. This is a department head position responsible for creating engaging programs for residents while supervising a team of Activities Assistants. Responsibilities Plan and lead a monthly activities calendar that promotes social, physical, and cognitive engagement for residents Serve as the department head for Life Enrichment, overseeing all activities and events Supervise and manage a team of 4 Activities Assistants Coordinate holiday celebrations, special events, entertainment, and resident outings Drive the community bus for outings when needed (training provided) Maintain activity supplies, schedules, and participation records Collaborate with other departments to support a vibrant, resident-centered community Qualifications Experience in activities, recreation, event planning, senior living, or a related field preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organization and communication abilities Creative, energetic, and resident-focused Must be 25 years or older (insurance requirement for driving the community bus) No special driver's license required Must be able to pass a background check Schedule: Full Time Some evenings and weekends for special events and outings Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Supportive team environment Opportunity to lead a department and create meaningful experiences for residents Join our team and help create a community where residents stay active, connected, and joyful. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sunridge Assisted Living
