Sanitation OperatorSURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Sanitation Operator for a large, well-known client in Montgomery, IL. As a Sanitation Operator for SURESTAFF you will clean the plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety, customer quality, and worker safety requirements. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All Temp-To-Hire employees are offered $18-18.50/HR competitive compensation as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts include: 2nd shift – 3:30pm-12 $18.50 3rd shift – 9:30am-6am $18.00Sanitation Operator Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for effective sanitation of the various plant equipment and departments.Follow equipment cleaning instructions as listed in the Sanitation Procedures Manual.Responsible for compliance with GMP’s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area.Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, always toed boots and safety googles/face shield.Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance procedures, a variety of instructions, diagrams, or schedules.Report any hazards or concerns to the Sanitation Manager.Sanitation Operator Requirements and QualificationsResponsible for reporting any food safety issues to your supervisor or management staff promptlyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime when neededPrevious Stand-up forklift and Walkie Rider experience is a plusWilling to work in temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or lowerPosition requires lifting up to 50lbs and standing throughout shiftAbout SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
