OVERVIEW

The Shipping Administrator - Day Shift supports the efficient, accurate, and organized operation of Singer Equipment Company's Elverson Warehouse shipping department. This position performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties to assist management with daily warehouse operations. The Shipping Administrator ensures that shipping documentation, invoicing, and reporting are completed accurately and on time, supporting Singer's commitment to Integrity, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare and distribute order documentation to support daily warehouse and shipping operations.
• Scan and archive delivery invoices into the system from previous day shipments.
• Research and retrieve Proof of Delivery (POD) documents upon internal or customer request.
• Complete daily invoicing processes through the company's internal systems.
• Participate in month-end close procedures, ensuring all orders and documentation are accurately reconciled.
• Maintain and update daily warehouse and shipping reports for management review.
• Professionally handle inbound phone calls and communications throughout the day.
• Communicate clearly and effectively across warehouse, logistics, and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination.
• Perform other administrative or clerical duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning company-specific systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods in an office or warehouse setting.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Work is primarily performed on-site during standard day shift hours.
