Qualifications

• State License License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications ACLS (AHA)
• Certifications Fetal Monitoring - Intermediate (AWHONN)
• Certifications BLS (AHA)
• Certifications NRP (AHA)
• Certifications Fetal Monitoring - Advanced (AWHONN)
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery in last 3 years.
• EMR Epic
• Skills Assessment LAD skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Charge RN references within the last 2 years. References must have worked with you for a combined 1 year.
• Additional Confirmations I have submitted all time off requests. I am aware that I cannot make additional requests after submission.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in administration of blood & blood products, anticoagulation, antihypertensives, antiseizure, insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate, opioids, Pitocin, prostaglandins, Terbutaline, and vaccine administration is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs and central lines (CVC/PICCs) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with amniocentesis, amnioinfusion, circumcision assistance, high risk delivery, sterile speculum exam, and vaginal delivery is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Cesarean Section, circulating for C-sections, and recovering C-sections is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with D & C, Epidural Anesthesia, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley catheter insertion/management, forceps/vacuum extraction, fundus/lochia/perineum care, and General Anesthesia is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with sterile vaginal exam, Tubal Ligation, uterine rupture, and VBAC management/trial of labor is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with APGAR scores, baby friendly protocols, bladder distension, breastfeeding support/lactation support, cord care, couplet care, discharge teaching to parents, ID/Security Banding, and infant identification is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Resuscitation, newborn assessment, and newborn hypoglycemia is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with phototherapy, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, reflex checks/edema assessment/clonus, RH incompatibilities, and teaching circumcision care to parents is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with diabetes mellitus, HELLP Syndrome, hemorrhage/shock, infectious disease, isolation precautions/PPE, LDRP, malpresentations (breech/face/brow), multiple births, multiple gestation, and Nitrous Oxide is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with NST (Non Stress Tests), OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Tests), pain assessment & management, Placenta Previa/Abruptio, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Premature Rupture of Membranes, and Preterm labor is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, seizure disorder, substance abuse, Thermoregulation, Triage of obstetrical patients, and wound assessment/care is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Electric/Manual breast pump, External Fetal Monitoring, and infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, PCA (IV), and Rapid Response/Code teams is required.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
