Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments including extensive physical examinations and detailed medical history evaluations

• Work collaboratively with surgeons to devise and implement customized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing the transfer of surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and facilitating patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical care is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandated
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
