Position Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 hours Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job ID: 1382001 Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for the facility. Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying with state regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in performing daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Exceptional candidates with 1 year of experience may qualify. BLS certification. State-specific licensing; additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
