License: RRT license in hand

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS

Must-Have: Level IV NICU Experience

Experience with high-frequency jet ventilator

Experience with oscillating ventilator

Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies

Description: The position is for a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of current experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics. Experience in the Emergency Department is also required. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. Candidates must have experience with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators. Familiarity with pediatric cardiac anomalies is necessary. The patient age group includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. Six weekend shifts are required per schedule, and the schedule is published in 6-week blocks. Compliance with specific skills and experience requirements is critical for consideration. Strong preference will be given to individuals with RRT credentials, although CRT candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they meet all other skills and experience requirements. A supervisory reference within the last year is required for all submissions. Modules and continuing education may be required throughout the assignment.
