Physical Therapist; Acute Care Per Diem Days Saint Vincent Hospital invites a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide acute care services on a per diem basis in Worcester, MA. The role focuses on evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients in an interdisciplinary team environment. Onboarding Process Candidates must successfully complete a background check, pre-employment health screening (including a drug screen), and obtain State licensure to practice in Massachusetts. Responsibilities Respond to physician orders for physical therapy. Administer and interpret tests and measurements of patients. Review patient charts and progress prior to treatment and modify the treatment plan accordingly. Develop functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations. Improve and restore functional mobility, seeking to return the patient to the highest level of independence. Seek clarification of physician orders as needed. Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy. Experience: Preferred 2 years of practicing PT in a healthcare setting.
