Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorAs a Quality Inspector you will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of wire & cable assemblies. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production.Responsibilities:Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsAccurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database.Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixturesMonitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.Qualifications:High School Degree or equivalent experience required2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experienceAbility to analyze informationAbility to report research resultsStrong documentation and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailStrong math skillsAbility to use measurement equipmentBasic computer skillsAbout Us This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
