Litigation Associate Attorney

DESCRIPTIONThriving, mission-oriented firm is seeking a commercial litigator with 5+ years of hands-on experience to help develop the growing litigation department of its Boston office. Opportunity to serve as a strong number 2 to the lead partner, work on cutting-edge legal issues, and collaborate with a team of dedicated and highly-collegial lawyers across the country. This lawyer will manage an active and diverse caseload of civil litigation matters in Massachusetts state court, (including contractual disputes, intellectual property, consumer protection and product liability cases), prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, and motion arguments, take and defend depositions, research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs and other legal documents, develop case strategies, provide strategic counsel to clients, and help mentor associates. Experience representing businesses in state and federal courts, arbitration, and administrative appeals, excellent writing, oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities, and admission to the MA or CO state bar required. Experience working with clients in regulated industries preferred.
