Job Title - Senior Linux on IBM Z / LinuxONE Solutions Architect
Location - 100% Remote
Duration - Long term contract
Interview - Virtual
Required Skills:
- 7+ years' experience deploying and/or administering Linux on IBM zSystems or LinuxONE
- 5+ years' experience working with Redhat, Canonical Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux distributions
- 5+ years' experience working with Redhat OpenShift
- 5+ years' experience in client facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, creating presentations, presenting to client staff, and speaking at an executive level
- 5+ years' experience working with clients that demonstrate Strong problem determination and debugging skills
- 5+ years' experience administering Linux system including installation, maintenance, storage, and networking aspects including Fiber Channel
- 5+ years' experience working with the IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC)
Preferred Skills:
- Expert consultative knowledge on a wide array of Linux on zSystems/LinuxONE based technologies
- Candidate will be required to help architect and implement Linux migration solutions
- Leading technical teams
- Ability to interact with and present to client's Executive management
- Execute role with strong negotiating skills and demonstrated Problem solving
- Execute role with strong Project Management Skills
- Ability to interact with and feedback to IBM development organizations
- Size and scope services engagements
