Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Lubbock, Texas. Job Summary The Physiotherapist (PT) specialized in inpatient care in Lubbock, Texas, is responsible for providing acute care physical therapy services across various units within a short‑term acute care facility. The role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, patient education, and assessments tailored to adult and geriatric patient populations. Candidates must bring their valid state license on the first day of assignment. Job Details Location: Lubbock, Texas Start Date: June 22, 2026 Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Valid State License (compact license in hand at submission) At least 1 year of acute care experience Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Experience with conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, post‑operative surgeries, spinal conditions, orthopedics, neurology, and more Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic Patient Care Responsibilities Patient assessment and evaluation, discharge planning, home exercise programming, patient and family education, and use of assistive devices such as gait belts, hospital beds, sliding boards, and gait training. Additional Information Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
