Controller Consultant Our client, a healthcare technology company, is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to help bring accounting functions in-house and prepare for a financial audit. This position is 100% on-site at the client's San Francisco office and has an expected duration of 4-5 months. Responsibilities Partner with outsourced bookkeepers to complete the company's first audit. Manage daily accounting operations, including month-end close, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger. Develop and implement initial processes and internal controls. Oversee timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting. Provide inputs for executive management reporting, including board and investor presentations. Support ad hoc projects as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience, including start-up exposure. Proven operational accounting expertise and experience leading audits. Strong systems knowledge (QuickBooks or similar) and process implementation skills. Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
