Drive Strategic Community Partnerships: Build and maintain high-value relationships with regional schools, daycares, law enforcement, and pediatric health organizations to expand program reach. Orchestrate Local Coalition & Training Initiatives: Host, plan, and lead local traffic safety coalition meetings; direct professional development and certification courses for local Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST). Deliver High-Impact Public Education: Design and deliver engaging community education presentations and safety content tailored for diverse audiences and community outreach platforms. Manage Grants & Operational Reporting: Spearhead grant-writing efforts, compile meticulous monthly progress reports, and track regional project activity to ensure full compliance with funding requirements. Lead Event Logistics & Physical Operations: Command the end-to-end logistics of community events, including the physical loading, unloading, and transport of car seats and safety equipment. What minimum requirements you’ll need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. What additional preferences we're seeking Language Agility (Highly Preferred): Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English to effectively serve and educate diverse communities across Central Texas. Specialized Safety Certification: Must hold a current, valid Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) certification. Community Outreach & Event Logistics: Proven experience working with community partners, managing event logistics, and coordinating field-based community services. Elite Communication & Public Speaking: Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated success in public speaking, presentations, and social media outreach platforms. Administrative & Resource Command: Strong organization and time-management skills, with a background or comfort level in grant writing, program reporting, and meeting facilitation. Physical Capability: Ability to manage the physical demands of community deployment, including loading and unloading heavy equipment and safety seats.
