Pharmacist

Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy operations while providing occasional support in a retail pharmacy setting. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys a balance of leadership, clinical oversight, and hands‑on pharmacy work. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the LTC pharmacy, including staffing, workflow, and quality assurance Verify and dispense prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations Conduct and supervise medication regimen reviews to support optimal patient outcomes Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures Collaborate with nurses, prescribers, and facility staff to resolve medication‑related issues Provide support in the retail pharmacy as needed (verification, counseling, immunizations) Maintain accurate documentation, billing processes, and audit readiness Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost controls within the department Qualifications PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted New York Pharmacist license Required: Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience Preferred: Prior leadership or management experience Retail or community pharmacy experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Familiarity with LTC systems, consultant reporting, and regulatory standards Schedule & Work Environment Full‑time position Schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends Primarily LTC-focused with periodic retail pharmacy coverage Collaborative, team‑oriented environment focused on accuracy and patient care Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Apply Today If you're a pharmacist who enjoys leading a team while making a meaningful impact in Long Term Care, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr BDA Recruitment & Consulting
