Feel the security of working for the Triad team by experiencing the following benefits:Excellent compensation and benefits package including:Medical, dental, vision insurance401(k) planPaid holidaysLife, Short- and Long-term disability insurance with company-paid premiumsEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Employee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramCompany supported Professional DevelopmentPersonal Protective Equipment providedCareer AdvancementDUTIESResponsibilities Include:Follow all corporate and job site safety proceduresCollaborate with the Survey Supervisor and/or Practice Leader in scheduling and coordinating field survey workSupervise the work of the survey crew, evaluate priorities and coordinate and organize the work efforts without direct supervisionEnsure that field survey activities are performed in accordance with company standard procedures, standards set by applicable state statutes and the American Congress of Surveying and MappingMake technical decisions and communicate to Survey Supervisor and/or Practice Leader immediately Maintain equipment by cleaning, completing preventative maintenance and performing calibrationsOversee vehicle and equipment inventoryRequest new equipment purchases and vehicle maintenance as necessary Supervise use of equipment, preparation of sketches and notes and electronic data collection Effectively communicate with professional office staff regarding projects Prepare daily time sheets, data logs and expense reports legibly and accurately Provide input to Practice Leader regarding performance evaluation of crew members Strive to make each project profitableProspect for new clients and opportunitiesQUALIFICATIONSEducation High school diploma or equivalentAdditional courses in mathematics and surveying preferredCAD experience preferredExperience 4 years of work experience with progressing responsibility in working on a survey crewAdditional RequirementsMust possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicleMust possess the ability to read, write and perform basic mathMust be comfortable communicating with the publicMust be comfortable with regular use of email, internet and basic Microsoft Office applicationsMust be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environmentsWork is performed under all weather conditions, often on busy streets or construction sites, involves extensive standing and walking, and includes clearing brush, working in difficult terrain, manholes and on difficult slopes. May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Work may routinely require the employee to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear and frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
