Part-Time Office Assistant Job Summary:


A downtown Grand Rapids apartment complex is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Part-Time Office Assistant to support their property management team for the next couple of months. In this role, you'll assist with leasing activities, resident relations, general office administration, and occasional marketing efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and is looking for a flexible schedule.


Part-Time Office Assistant Responsibilities :

• Greet prospective residents and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist current and prospective residents
• Assist with leasing activities, including applications, lease renewals, and resident communications
• Perform general office and administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office records
• Support the Property Manager with day-to-day office operations
• Assist with community outreach and marketing efforts as assigned
• Complete additional administrative projects as needed

Schedule & Pay:

• Flexible schedule averaging 25-30 hours per week
• Hours worked between Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
• $18 - $22/hour

Part-Time Office Assistant Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, leasing, or administrative experience preferred
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
