Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: July 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in a 24-bay PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Perform Phase II recovery support as part of floating responsibilities
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification (required; candidates without will not be considered)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or post-anesthesia care experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Phase II post-anesthesia recovery
• Familiarity with on-call and weekend rotation scheduling in a surgical setting
