Key Responsibilities: Daily Housing Support & Community Engagement: Implement individualized, engaging activities tailored to each participant Support participants in reaching their personal goals and maximizing independence Provide guidance and encouragement in home and community settings Foster community inclusion and involvement Support individuals in their daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, transportation, recreation and personal hygiene Utilize your own talents, skills, hobbies, and interests—such as art, music, cooking, sports, or other personal passions to enrich the lives of participants Must be at least 21 years old High School Diploma/GED One year of experience in Human Services (preferred) Active, clean, non-restricted Connecticut Driver’s License (minimum 3 years U.S. possession) Reliable transportation Ability to safely lift at least 75 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for periods at a time.
