Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd shift, 12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years in Nursing and two years in Intensive Care Nursing preferred License: Current Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: - Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers Must-Have: - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice - Competency in delivery of care to an adult population Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Essential functions are adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
