Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: Required certifications in Cardiac Cath, CRM & PV Must-Have: Candidates must have Cardiac Cath experience. Candidates must have CRM & PV experience. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This unit has 5 procedure suites. The department consists of a Director, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 4.6 staff RNs, and 5 technicians. During the day shift, all staff members work together, while night shifts include an on-call crew for emergencies. The patient ratio is 1 patient to 3-4 staff members. Typical equipment used includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator. The EMR systems utilized are MacLab and Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the unit include Diagnostic and Interventional Catheterizations, Peripheral Vascular procedures, Pacemakers, ICDs, Watchman devices, TAVR, and Electrophysiology/ABlation. Candidates with Electrophysiology and Ablation experience will be prioritized. The unit is seeking professionals who can work every other weekend and holidays, rotating with hospital employees.
