Associate Professor of Clinical - OBGYN, Gynecology Oncology

Position Overview Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Gynecologic Oncologists at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to join our division of 5 board certified gynecologic oncologists, a benign gynecologist, a PhD researcher, 6 faculty nurse‑clinicians, and 4 fellows in sub‑specialty training. Positions are available immediately and involve clinical work at our main academic campus, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and surrounding community practice sites. Responsibilities Provide quality clinical care to gynecologic oncology patients across inpatient and outpatient settings at UMMSOM and Jackson Health System sites. Consult for hospitalized patients on the Gynecologic Oncology service and for non‑service unit patients by telephone. Develop personalized treatment plans for reproductive cancer–related diagnoses. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows through daily interaction and formal instruction. Participate in the division’s research efforts with protected research time, startup funds, and dedicated OR block time. Lead or contribute to the fellowship program and serve on mentoring committees for junior faculty. Qualifications MD or DO with Board Certified or Board Eligible status in Obstetrics & Gynecology and subspecialty board eligible in Gynecologic Oncology. Completion of a 4‑year ACGME residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and an ABOG/ACGME approved fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. Active Florida Medical License and DEA credentialing.
