SLP Clinical Fellow - Skilled Nursing Setting
Post Rehab
Post Rehabilitation Services is offering a dedicated Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) position for a motivated Clinical Fellow to complete your ASHA CCC-SLP requirements at our respected skilled nursing facility. Your Daily Impact (With Structured Mentorship): Conduct supervised evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders, gaining direct experience with FEES, standardized assessments, and advanced tools. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under mentor guidance, setting functional goals, leading therapy sessions for communication recovery, cognitive strategies, voice work, and safe swallowing (including diet mods, compensatory techniques, and mealtime support). Provide resident/family counseling, document precisely with mentor review, and track progress to meet CFY competencies and ASHA hours. What Makes This CFY Stand Out at Post Rehab: Start with a paid two-week orientation of direct, intensive supervision to build confidence from day one. Receive comprehensive mentorship from an engaged, experienced supervisor, plus unlimited access to our Clinical Speech Director, ongoing support from current CFs/supervisors at nearby sites, tailored guidance on documentation, Medicare guidelines, evaluations, and treatments. We exceed state and ASHA supervision requirements for a supportive, thorough experience that accelerates your growth into an independent, skilled clinician. Enjoy a diverse SNF caseload with varied diagnoses, build lasting resident relationships, witness meaningful long-term progress in communication, cognition, swallowing safety, and independence, while thriving in a collaborative team where your input matters. Benefit from corporate support by therapist-led Regional Directors and clinical team, structured to help navigate regulations and demands. Strong post-CFY pathway: Successful fellows are prioritized for full-time SLP roles (or PRN if needed) across our locations. Comprehensive Full-Time Benefits: Health & Wellness: Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans. Future Planning: 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Continuous Learning: Dedicated CEU reimbursement to support your ongoing professional development. And more! If you're eligible for your CFY, passionate about geriatric rehab, dysphagia, interdisciplinary teamwork, ongoing training/CEUs, and launching in a supportive skilled nursing environment, this direct-hire CFY with Post Rehabilitation Services is designed for your success.
