Location: Oakland City, Indiana

Start Date: 08-05-2026

End Date: 11-04-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in alignment with state and federal regulations, helping patients regain function and mobility
• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to create meaningful progress in their rehab journey
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans that put each patient on the path to recovery
• Document services accurately and promptly to ensure seamless, quality care
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs, supporting a collaborative rehab team
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams and families to promote the best possible outcomes
• Champion safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance in every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active state Physical Therapy license, or ability to obtain one before starting
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
• Flexibility to adapt to different facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and evidence-based treatment planning
• Direct patient care in a rehab setting
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Supervision and support of PTAs and Rehab Techs
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and families
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety, and infection control
