Medical Assistant Job Description: We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an on-site contract-to-hire role in Upland, CA. This position involves back-office Medical Assistant responsibilities and supports clinical care services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Job Duration: 8+ months with Possible Contract to hire Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Location: (Optum) 299 W Foothill Blvd # 209, Upland, CA 91786, USA Key Responsibilities * Perform back-office Medical Assistant duties on a day-to-day basis * Support clinical operations and care services * Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system * Assist with administrative and clinical workflows as needed Required Skills & Qualifications * Professional Medical Assistant certification required * Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred) * Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel * Ability to work in an on-site clinical setting Additional Details * Resource Type: Independent Contractor * Position Type: Contract to Hire * Interview Process: Face-to-face interview * Health Screening Requirements: * Drug and background check * TB test and mask fitting
