Job Description UW Medical Center-Northwest) Behavioral Health - (LTCC) Long Term Civil Commitment has an outstanding opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) position. Must have at least one year of CNA Psych experience in Psych Facility or hospital or unit. Schedule 90% FTE - 36 hours per week Night shift No specific schedule Primary Job Responsibilities Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating Maintain a safe environment of care Patient transportation Prepare patients for surgery Perform non-invasive lab procedures Transport equipment and supplies Assist with treatments Perform various clerical tasks Take vital signs Requirements Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume) High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date About Uw Medical Center-northwest UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
