Senior DevOps Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field -- equivalent professional experience is also considered
• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization
• Proficiency with GitLab and Jenkins for pipeline and workflow management
• Solid programming skills in C, Python, and Bash
• Experience with DevOps tooling spanning infrastructure management, project tracking, logging, and compliance security scanning
• Familiarity with Jira and JAMA for project and requirements management
• Strong Linux, QNX, or Unix‑like operating system experience
• Proven ability to architect and implement software systems and deployment workflows at scale
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a project‑driven environment
• Experience in a regulated or compliance‑driven industry is strongly preferred, particularly medical devices

Desired Skills & Experience

• Background supporting embedded software development teams
• Experience mentoring junior or mid‑level engineers in a DevOps or software engineering context
• Familiarity with a broad range of languages and frameworks beyond the core stack
• Track record of identifying process gaps and driving improvements through to implementation
• Comfort with rapidly adopting new tools and technologies as project needs evolve
