Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The position includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing health education, counseling, and therapy to support maternal and neonatal well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required qualifications include: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and 0 years of experience.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Nursing and relevant certifications for the unit or service.
• Responsibilities include executing delegated medical functions, monitoring treatment plans, documenting care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and participating in patient education and counseling related to maternal and neonatal health.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs.
• Appropriate for candidates capable of performing essential nursing duties and familiar with health data assessment, health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment planning.
