Job Summary

Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Telemetry (MS TELE) is sought for a healthcare organization in Missoula, Montana. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patient populations in an acute care setting. The position offers an opportunity to work within a Level 4 Trauma Center, delivering essential services such as chest tube management, Foley care, and NG tube management, along with handling a variety of medical conditions including diabetic complications, pneumonia, and sepsis.

Job Details

• Location: 2827 FORT MISSOULA ROAD, Missoula, Montana, 59804
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associates degree or higher. Certifications include BLS and ACLS. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic health record; NIHSS certification.
• Team and Patient Care: Care delivery for adult and geriatric patients with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6. Must have skills in NG tube placement and management, Foley placement and management, and chest tube maintenance.
• Additional Notes: Orientation sessions scheduled on specific dates prior to start. The role requires outgoing communication skills, adaptability to change, and a professional appearance with solid color scrubs.
