Pediatric Neurologist

Position Overview Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Neurologist to the staff at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, located on the newly developed Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital campus. Opportunity Details Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders in pediatric patients. Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient, which may include medications, therapy, or surgical referrals. Provide ongoing management of chronic neurological conditions. Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers. Educate families on disease management, treatment options, and long-term care. Contribute to teaching and training of residents and medical students. Qualifications Active NY State medical license. Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology. Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $242,000* (Board Eligible); $252,000* (Board Certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $361,720** (Board Eligible) and $372,720** (Board Certified), which includes baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors. Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $55,520. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) company contribution: 3% of base earnings immediately, plus an additional 7% after one year of service.
