Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Freight Order Management Position This position is responsible for freight order management, making and tracking delivery appointments, resolving customer PO due date conflicts, coordinating with internal and external supply chain partners, tendering loads to carriers, maintaining order and load status information in TMS systems, handling, communicating and resolving delivery exceptions, reporting and investigating over, short or damage incidents, maintaining customer KPI scorecards, and responding timely to customer inquiries. General Accountabilities include: Customer Service for Facility Customers Schedule Inbound/Outbound Delivery Appointments Manage Paperwork Flow between Shipping & Receiving Office and Warehouse Check-in drivers and direct them to a door for unloading/loading Removing/Placing Seals on Trailer Doors Maintaining & Tracking Appointments Resolving Customer Problems Maintaining Load & Order Status in TMS System Claim Management Customer Inquiries Maintaining KPI Scorecards Other Duties as Assigned by Management Skills Required: SAP Experience (Preferred) Positive Attitude Communication Skills Good Problem Solving & Decision Making Skills Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills Ability to Follow Instructions Closely Ability to Function Effectively in a Team & Fast Pace Environment Prerequisites: High School Diploma (or equivalent) Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office) Strong Phone Skills/Etiquette Previous Experience in Customer Service (a plus) Performance Measurements: Company Benefits: Paid Time Off! $500 Referral Program - Refer hard working employees, get paid up to $500 per referral!
