Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health invite applications for an Academic Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing Division of General Internal Medicine. This faculty position offers the opportunity to practice evidence-based internal medicine while contributing to the education of medical students and residents within one of the Midwest's premier academic medical centers. The Department of Internal Medicine is one of the largest and most dynamic departments at Saint Louis University, supporting excellence in patient care, education, research, and service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient Internal Medicine care for adult patients
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Participate in medical student and resident education through clinical teaching and mentorship
• Engage in interdisciplinary care with specialty colleagues across the health system
• Participate in departmental, academic, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain excellence in patient-centered care consistent with the missions of Saint Louis University and SSM Health

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
• Commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and patient-centered care
• Interest in resident and medical student education preferred

SLUCare Physician Group and SSM Health have partnered for decades to provide exceptional medical services to patients at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, and, most recently SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.
