Overview
Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care, Sheridan, Wyoming. Travel - temporary assignment in a long-term care setting. Start date: 07/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours guaranteed per week. Weekly pay: $2,047-$2,198 per week. Shift: Days. This role is in a long-term care/nursing home environment, and aligns with acute care practice within an updated, interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for residents with communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and modify goals as appropriate.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans in the patient’s chart per applicable regulations and facility policy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care, including care planning and family education.
- Support safe feeding and swallowing assessments, precautions, and recommendations; educate staff on communication strategies and dysphagia management.
- Participate in care conferences and discharge planning to optimize resident outcomes and smooth transitions.

Requirements
- Active Wyoming state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Wyoming as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Prior clinical experience in speech-language pathology, with preference for work in long-term care or acute care settings
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and in a daytime shift
- Eligibility for temporary/travel assignments and credentialing requirements as applicable
