Overview
The Plumbing Journeyman is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping. This role ensures systems operate safely and comply with plumbing codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water supply/drainage systems
- Read blueprints and building specifications
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper function
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Work independently or oversee apprentices
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License
- 4+ years of experience in residential or commercial plumbing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with plumbing codes and tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
